About the Farm

We are a small farm dedicated to the preservation and continuation of many heritage and "at-risk" breeds of farm animals. Some of these animals include Nigerian Dwarf goats, Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs, and Buttercup chickens. We are members and supporters of the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy. In addition to supporting threatened, heritage breeds, we also raise registered Jersey cows, alpacas, Guinea fowl, and ducks.

We strive to be a sustainable farm. We are able to feed our animals from our own hay located right on the property. Hay is harvested twice a year and sustains us for 1 year. We pasture the animals in the spring, summer, and fall. Our pasture and hay is organic(not yet certified) and we fertilize with compost made here on the farm. A stream runs though many of the pastures, allowing fresh water year-round.
