We stand behind all of the horses we sell at Hidden Nest Farm. We will never sell a horse we deem as unsafe and any and all behaviors or tendencies will be disclosed.
Full veterinary records are always available. Horses are sold UTD on vaccines we deem appropriate, hoof care, and a current coggins. We are honest and upfront about any known health or lameness concerns.
That being said, we cannot control what happens to our horses once they are sold and leave our farm. Because of this, all horses are sold as-is with no guarantees or warranties. Feel free to ask for a copy of our simple Bill of Sale.
There is a 75’ by 150’ sand outdoor riding arena to try out horses. Jumps are available.
Jim Bob is a 15 hand, 3 year old, gelding. We believe him to be a Dutch Harness or Saddlebred?
He is broke to walk, trot, canter, and jump. He has a great brain and is only going to get better. Willing and brave, I cannot say enough good things about this boy! He even lets beginners walk him around without issue. He’s more of a push ride. Jimbob is also sweet on the ground and ties and tacks quietly. Puppy dog personality. Sound and ready to go in any direction.

Frank is an school master type gelding, perfect for lessons, trails, or to be your next partner. He is a 16.2 hand, 19 year old, Thoroughbred gelding. Frank last raced in 2010 and has had extensive jumping experience since. He has a rocking horse type canter, rhythmic and easy. Push type ride, Frank is going no where fast! He has also ridden Western and is more the pleasure type vs barrels. He is easy to handle on the ground, friendly, and sweet. Has had the majority of the winter off, so will need some rides to get back into it.
Frosty is a teenage, 15 hand, Arabian cross, gelding. He’s a thick boy that can hold a variety of riders. He’s a little more go then whoa but absolutely safe with no naughty habits or spooks. He’a a good one to teach kids to trot or to use for a lunge lesson. We’ve also used him as a trail horse and is my preferred mount when I trail ride. I think Frosty would make a nice Dressage horse due to his carriage and build.

May 2022 Hanoverian/ Quarter Horse gelding out of Sir Wanabi. He shares the same dam as, Miss May also listed below. Bred to win on the hunter/jumper circuit. “10” mover and a quiet brain. Norman has recently been started and is quiet to mount and walk around. He has done a tiny bit of trot and canter work under saddle but still pretty much a blank slate. He has lots of growing to do! Friendly, easy to handle, with no vices.

Snowflake is a 7 year old, smoky cream, tobiano, grade, Paint mare. She stands around 14.2 hands. Snowflake is well broke and loves to work. She is a more forward ride without being heavy or strong and has a trying and willing attitude, doing whatever asked. She is always game. She can be quick if you want her to be and I think would make a fantastic gaming horse or jumper. She is handy and responds to aids well. She gets both leads and has started small jumps. I have extensively trail ridden her including down the road. In addition to being a fantastic riding horse, she is sweet on the ground. I do not recommend Snowflake to beginners since she is a responsive, sensitive ride and can be quick.
Miss May is a yearling born May 2023. She is out of top competing hunter stallion, No Doubt This Is Hot and a lovely Quarter Horse mare. She is a lovely mover built for the hunters. Miss May leads, ties, and picks up all 4 feet. She has manners and is a sweet little well built filly.

“Olaf”
Coming 2yr old Clydesdale/Andalusian X gelding foaled in May 2023 looking for a very special new person.
Olaf has been my personal baby, but due to life changes I have decided to part with him. He leads, ties, stands for a bath, and loves to be groomed. He is the first one to meet you at the gate, and has a friendly, in your pocket, puppy dog personality. Olaf does well on a mixed herd, and respects the electric fence.
Over the summer, I began ground work training with Olaf. He has an amazing brain and just wants to please. He’s lazy on the ground, and I’m sure that will transfer into the saddle one day.
$5,000
Ice is an Appendix yearling that will turn 2 in June, 2025. She is out of the top hunter/jumper sire, No Doubt This Is Hot and a lovely, well mannered, Thoroughbred mare. She is an eye catcher with her blue eyes, white stockings, and blaze on her bay body. She is big boned and should mature well over 16 hands. Ice has naturally lofty movements and is inherently brave, calm, and gentle natured. She leads, picks up her feed, and handles well. She is the calmest, sweetest, baby I have raised.
