We stand behind all of the horses we sell at Hidden Nest Farm. We will never sell a horse we deem as unsafe and any known behaviors or tendencies will be disclosed.
Full veterinary records are always available. Horses are sold UTD on vaccines we deem appropriate, hoof care, and a current coggins. We are honest and upfront about any known health or lameness concerns.
That being said, we cannot control what happens to our horses once they are sold and leave our farm. Because of this, all horses are sold as-is with no guarantees or warranties. Feel free to ask for a copy of our simple Bill of Sale.
There is a 75’ by 150’ sand outdoor riding arena to try out horses. Jumps are available.
Jim Bob is a 15 hand, 4 year old, gelding. We believe him to be a Dutch Harness horse?
He is broke to walk, trot, canter, and jump. He has a great brain and is only going to get better. Willing and brave, I cannot say enough good things about this boy! He even lets beginners walk him around without issue. He’s more of a push ride. Jimbob is also sweet on the ground and ties and tacks quietly. Puppy dog personality. Sound and ready to go in any direction.

AQHA, 24 year old, dun, gelding. Western or English. Ring or trail. Not spooky. He’s done camp and lessons from beginner through advanced. Recent blood work shows he’s in great health with no issues! Right now he’s only being used once every couple weeks for trails or lessons. He’s not a horse that has to be worked every day. Does get a tad hot with lots of transitions. Nothing out of control and absolutely no naughty behaviors- he just gets more responsive and prefers a lope (which is lovely) versus a trot.
Smooth ride. Lots of trail experience.

7 year old mini cremello mare. Used during our summer camp for ground activities. Not sure if she was ever broke to ride or drive. I have tacked her up a few times and my own kids have sat on her but think she’d be too green for riding lessons. Sweet and willing. Can expose to our stallion for extra fee.
$900
Frosty- 12 year old, Arabian cross, gelding. Camp favorite! Easy walk trot horse. Not for dead beginner as he is not dead and responds well to aids. Does beginners on lunge. Canter is more unbalanced but gets both leads. Has some jumping experience. Trail rides. A little pushy with wanting to be the leader on the ground. Used in lessons and camp this summer but not much lately as our program winds down.
$5,000
